Privacy notice

Last updated: 2 October 2026 · Applies to the Pegs waitlist

Pegs is a pre-launch product for UK primary school parents. This notice explains, in plain English, what happens to your email address when you join our waitlist. It's short, because we collect very little.

Who we are

Pegs is run by Tom Corp (UK). We're the "data controller" for the waitlist — which simply means we're responsible for looking after your email address. You can reach us any time at tom@thp.dev.

What we collect

Your email address. That's it. The waitlist form doesn't ask for your name, your child's name, their school, or anything else. We also deliberately avoid analytics that track you: the site keeps simple anonymous tallies (number of visits and signups) with no cookies, no advertising trackers and nothing that identifies you.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

We use your email for one thing: to tell you about Pegs — when it launches, and how waitlist members get early access. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is your consent: you give us your email by choosing to join, and you can withdraw that consent whenever you like (see below).

We will never sell your email address, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything unrelated to Pegs.

Where it's stored and who processes it

Some of these providers operate outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards UK GDPR requires (such as the UK's adequacy arrangements and standard contractual clauses).

How long we keep it

Until Pegs launches and we've invited you — or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. If Pegs doesn't launch, we'll delete the waitlist rather than keep it around.

How to be removed

Email tom@thp.dev with "remove me" (or words to that effect) and we'll delete your address — usually within a few days, and within one month at most. Every email we send you will also include a way to opt out.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it — just email tom@thp.dev. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Pegs is made for parents, and the waitlist is for adults. We don't knowingly collect anything from or about children — the form doesn't even ask about them.

Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and, for anything significant, email the waitlist before the change takes effect. A full privacy policy will be published before Pegs launches.
